Man Arrested for Spying into Medical Facility with UAV

A man has been arrested for allegedly trying to use an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to record what was happening inside exam rooms at a medical facility in Ulster, N.Y.

The Times Herald-Record reports that 49-year-old David Beesmer flew a camera-equipped UAV 10 to 15 feet outside the windows of rooms before staff and patients spotted it.

He was subsequently arrested for second-degree unlawful surveillance, which is a felony, according to the Times Herald-Record.
