As part of its agriculture aviation training curriculum, Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) has ordered an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) simulation package from Simlat.
In association with Flying Tiger Aviation, the college, based in Monroe, La., offers both airplane and helicopter agriculture aviation training. Now, to be delivered by the end of the second quarter, the turnkey UAS simulator – what Simlat calls a full-crew stand-alone training system – will provide drone training solutions for LDCC.
Simlat’s program includes add-on civil UAS application packages such as agriculture and offshore inspections. The company says its simulation programs support more than 50 UAS training centers in 25 countries.
