Library Lending Drones to Teens for Cinematography Competition

As part of its ‘Teen Tech Week,’ a South Dakota library is bringing in drones for teens to use in a video competition.

The Huron Public Library is hosting a drone video competition in which it will allow students from grades six through 12 to check out a drone using their library card.

They then have the task of creating a 90-second aerial video with the theme “It Happened on the Way to the Library.”

The drones and rules will be handed out on March 9, and the students will have until March 12 to submit a video. The grand prize? A drone, of course.
