Jeff Galindo of Real Estate Strategies LLC has become the first real estate professional in the state of Nevada to be granted a Section 333 exemption from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), according to the company.

Under the commercial exemption, Galindo, a licensed private pilot, is authorized to fly his unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a Phantom 2 Vision+ quadcopter, for augmenting real estate marketing/listings with the use of aerial photography/cinematography.

Galindo is a real estate veteran, having been involved in the home building and real estate sale and marketing industry in Las Vegas for over 15 years.

‘Unmanned aerial vehicles are a game-changer,” he says. “The kind of footage that we are able to acquire was previously only available using helicopters and airplanes. This is tremendously exciting and will literally change the way people view real estate in Las Vegas.’
