Sentera LLC, a Minneapolis-based provider of software, sensors and drone technologies for the agriculture industry, says it is now a John Deere operations center production partner.

This affiliation gives John Deere’s dealer and customer network access to Sentera’s solutions, including the following:

  • AgVault software and mobile app: allows farmers to view crop health imagery and historical data at the field edge and transfer prescriptive analytics into farm equipment;
  • Single and double sensors: weigh 25 grams and 51 grams, respectively, and capture high-resolution RGB, near-infrared and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) data;
  • DJI Phantom 3 NDVI upgrade: transforms new or existing Phantom 3 drones into a precision scouting tool; and
  • Drones: the DJI Phantom 3 quadcopter and Sentera Phoenix 2 fixed-wing.

Sentera says its products will be available for this year’s planting season. John Deere customers can use the software, sensors and drones either together or independent of one another.sentera john deere
