Skyward, provider of an information management platform for commercial drone operators, has named Jim Williams, former manager of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration Office, to its advisory board.

Skyward says Williams brings nearly 30 years of experience in aviation to the board, including experience in FAA leadership focusing on integrating drones into the National Airspace System. Williams is currently a member of Dentons’ public policy and regulation practice.

“It is an honor and a privilege to be invited to serve on the Skyward advisory board,” says Williams. “[Skyward CEO Jonathan Evans] and his team have developed a fantastic platform for unmanned aircraft operators. I am thrilled to be able to help bring their drone software and services to users around the world.”

Williams joins Bill Buck, Scott Edwards, Wendie Kellington, Stephen McKeon, Paul Lew, Donald R. Walker and Jeff Wishnie as a Skyward advisory board member.
