FAA Holding Meeting on UAS at CES 2016

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Administrator Michael Huerta, along with four drone registration task force members, will be holding a discussion tomorrow at the Consumer Technology Association’s (CTA) CES 2016 in Las Vegas.

The speakers will cover unmanned aircraft system (UAS) registration and provide updates on the agency’s work to safely integrate UAS into national airspace.

Joining Huerta will be Dave Vos, project lead for Google X’s Project Wing; Nancy Egan, general counsel for 3D Robotics; Brendan Schulman, vice president of policy and legal affairs for DJI; and Doug Johnson, vice president of technology policy for CTA.

Following their remarks, speakers will be available for one-on-one interviews.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. to noon PST at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall, Level 2, Room S227A.
