Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturer EHang has released two new versions of its GHOSTDRONE 2.0 drone: the GHOSTDRONE 2.0 Aerial bundle and the GHOSTDRONE 2.0 VR.
The GHOSTDRONE 2.0 Aerial now comes with a 4K camera, and the brand-new GHOSTDRONE 2.0 VR features an integrated 4K spherical camera and virtual reality goggles, which consumers can use to see from their drone’s perspective or change the camera angle by tilting their head. Both drones also feature EHang’s tilt control, which allows users to steer their drone by tilting their phone (through the EHang Play mobile app).
The company notes that the drones come with a 12-month warranty and 24-hour customer service. Both the Aerial and VR models are available for purchase at Fry’s, Amazon or the EHang website for $599 and $1,099, respectively. The VR goggles can also be purchased separately as an accessory for $349.
“We believe users are intimidated by the complexity of flying their first drone. But with our new VR goggles and 4K cameras, it’s easier and more intuitive than ever to take to the skies,” says Derrick Xiong, chief marketing officer of EHang. “These new models bring us one big step closer to our mission of making drone flight an easy, fun and user-friendly experience for everyone.”
