Aerial footage from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is showing what it looks like when thousands of people inhabit a beach at one time.
The UAV was deployed on Feb. 21 in Seaside, N.J., where 6,000 people joined the Polar Bear Plunge, with participants running into the ocean to raise money for the Special Olympics New Jersey.
The aircraft, which hovers near the shore and reaches out over the water, was operated by West Orange, N.J.-based GDIS Inc., according to the video description.
The video, provided by the New Jersey State Police Department, can be found here.
