Drone as a Service company Measure and drone technology giant DJI have come together to form a partnership that they say will promote economic growth and innovation within the commercial unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) industry.
Washington, D.C.-based Measure provides turnkey solutions to acquire, process and deliver aerial data to enterprise customers. Pairing DJI’s UAV technology with Measure’s services, the two companies plan to assist organizations in developing and deploying drones in the fields of agriculture, energy and media.
“Our partnership with DJI allows Measure to enhance technical capability and scale business operations across all verticals,” explains Brandon Torres Declet, CEO of Measure. “This alliance will allow our companies and franchisees to be the vanguard of innovation for commercial UAV operations using DJI’s proven technology and our experienced pilots.”
Jan Gasparic, who heads strategic partnerships and business development at DJI, adds, “We are looking forward to expanding our successful relationship with Measure, allowing more businesses to perform critical functions faster, safer, more efficiently and at a lower cost.”
