In preparation for the 2015 Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Ga., commissioners have declared much of the city a no-drone zone.

According to a report from WRDW, city commissioners voted on March 17 to outlaw unmanned aerial systems (UAS) from any “populated areas” from April 2-13. The vote was unanimous.

The ban includes not only areas near public buildings (e.g., schools) but also residential neighborhoods. If caught flying in these zones, UAS operators may be subject to a fine of $1,000 or 60-day prison time.

The Masters tournament will take place at the Augusta National Golf Club from April 5-12.
