Agribotix LLC and Lankota have teamed up to distribute turnkey, drone-enabled agricultural intelligence technologies and services to tractor dealers in the U.S., Canada and Australia.

The all-in-one package combines Agribotix’s FarmLens cloud-based data platform with its purpose-built Enduro quadcopter. Agribotix, based in Boulder, Colo., provides the platform, service and support.

A family-owned business in central South Dakota, Lankota manufactures and technically supports a range of after-market agricultural products solutions worldwide.

Users can scout and record aerial field data across up to 160 acres in a single flight. The quadcopter can simultaneously capture near-infrared and RGB (standard visual) images.

The data collected is uploaded to the FarmLens platform, where it is processed to produce high-resolution field health reports – essential for early identification of yield-limiting problems – and shapefiles needed for variable application prescriptions. These reports can be used to address issues and optimize inputs – leading to improved crop yields and increased profits for growers.
